Ribbons
​
In this example two narrow ribbon borders run around the bathroom at dado height and then create a frame around the medicine cabinet.
Paint
​
A thick yellow painted border runs along the victorian dado rail. It goes around the painting to provide a contemporary frame to the canvas.
